Love Blog elevates mass consciousness with thoughts of unconditional love, spiritual truths and metaphysical teachings that manifest inner harmony. All you need is love.
Mass consciousness is the sum of cumulative thoughts emanating from every person. Ancient pre-Christian societies, including the Mayans, Egyptians, Native Americans, Buddhists, and Vedics, propounded the spiritual truths that we create our own reality and there is a definite connection between our inner thoughts or beliefs and what manifests in our outer world of physical experience. Quantum physics recently proved these metaphysical teachings as scientific facts and suggested that we are a part of One Cosmic Whole.

Science and technology are racing to control the environment and improve our lifestyle at a pace that shakes the very foundation of our existence, while warring tribes echoing "My God is better than your God" continue to lower the frequency of our collective consciousness. We must make intelligent choices if we are to survive the quickening quagmire and spiritual sparring, and our success or failure is directly linked to our relationship with each other.

We are Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience and accepting the truth of our spirituality is the basis for inner harmony. Each of us possess the keys to the survival of our species and have the opportunity to conquer the fear that invades the pool of mass consciousness by emitting thoughts of unconditional love. I invite you to join me in my journey to elevate the vibrations of our Universe as I spread positive thoughts and share inspirational resources and self-help products via my Love Blog.

Love heals. Love prospers. Love protects. Love guards. Love guides. Love restores. Love creates. Love makes all things new. Love straightens out every crooked place in life. When Love is the answer, there is no question. All You Need is Love. It is just that simple.

Intention is the energy that fuels cosmic reality. What we experience in our outer world mirrors what our inner thoughts have created.

In the 60s Petula Clark sang What the World Needs Now is Love, Sweet Love, It’s the Only Thing That There’s Just Too Little Of. Now in some ways we have come a long way since the 60s but after reflecting on the words of this song, it seems to me that the more things change the more they stay the same. What the world still needs is Love.

It is easy to give love to someone we know or to send aid to the victims of a tragedy, an accident or a disaster. But love is more than that. Love is performing at our highest level and doing what is best in every situation, not cheating or telling lies to protect ourselves. Love is seeing the good in everyone and helping them shine, not criticizing in the guise of just being truthful.

We all have an unlimited capacity to love and the more love we share with others, the more love comes back to us. People respond to us whether we like it or not, and it is much healthier to process loving thoughts filled with positive vibrations than it is to process hateful feelings filled with negative vibrations. Look at it this way. If you begin today to exchange love-filled greetings with one stranger each day, in twenty years you will have influenced up to 7,305 people with love who will in turn influence 7,305 people with love who will in turn influence 7,305 people with love and so on and so on.

When you become the love you wish to see in the world and begin to spread it around, it will continue to flow back to you. In the giving, you will receive. Love never fails. Love is eternal. Love has no end. When Love is the answer, there is no question.

BE THANKFUL

Not just today, but every day...

When you are counting your blessings, you are too busy to worry.
It makes you smile, which eliminates those annoying little wrinkles around your mouth.

Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don’t know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you’re tired and weary,
because it means you’ve made a difference.

It’s easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

As you become thankful for more and more things, you start attracting more and better things into your life.

Being grateful and thankful should be a daily habit.
Do this consistently and watch the significant difference in your life and the lives of those around you.

I have just finished reading Book 1 of Conversations with God, an extraordinary experience written by Neale Donald Walsch. The conversations address most of the questions I have ever asked about life, its purpose, and my place in the scheme of things and reveal the Truth about how to be the next grandest version of the greatest vision we ever had about Who We Are. The last page of God’s dialogue is so moving that I am compelled to share it with you. Open your heart, listen and allow God to speak to you:

Do not feel abandoned. I am always with you. If you have questions -- day-to-day questions -- as I know you do even now, and will continue to -- know that you can call on Me to answer them. You do not need the form of this book.

This is not the only way I speak to you. Listen to Me in the truth of your soul. Listen to Me in the feelings of your heart. Listen to Me in the quiet of your mind.

Hear me, everywhere. Whenever you have a question, simply know that I have answered it already. Then open your eyes to your world. My response could be in an article already published. In the sermon already written and about to be delivered. In the movie now being made. In the song just yesterday composed. In the words about to be said by a loved one. In the heart of a new friend about to be made.

My Truth is in the whisper of the wind, the babble of the brook, the crack of the thunder, the tap of the rain.

It is the feel of the earth, the fragrance of the lily, the warmth of the sun, the pull of the moon.

My Truth -- and your surest help in time of need -- is as awesome as the night sky, and as simply, incontrovertibly, trustful as a baby’s gurgle.

It is as loud as a pounding heartbeat -- and as quiet as a breath taken in unity with Me.

I will not leave you. I cannot leave you, for you are My creation and My product, My daughter and My son, My purpose and My ...
Self.

Call on Me, therefore, wherever and whenever you are separate from the peace that I am.

I will be there.

With Truth.

And Light.

And Love.

A handsome, middle-aged man walked quietly into the cafe and sat down. Before he ordered, he couldn’t help but notice a group of younger men at the table next to him. It was obvious they were making fun of something about him, and it wasn’t until he remembered he was wearing a small pink ribbon on the lapel of his suit that he became aware of what the joke was all about.

The man brushed off the reaction as ignorance, but the smirks began to get to him. He looked one of the rude men square in the eye, placed his hand beneath the ribbon and asked, quizzically, "This?"

With that the men all began to laugh out loud. The man he addressed said, as he fought back laughter, "Hey, sorry man, but we were just commenting on how pretty your little ribbon looks against your blue jacket!"

The middle-aged man calmly motioned for the joker to come over to his table, and invited him to sit down. As uncomfortable as he was, the guy obliged, not really sure why. In a soft voice, the middle aged man said, "I wear this ribbon to bring awareness about breast cancer. I wear it in my mother’s honor."

"Oh, sorry dude. She died of breast cancer?" "No, she didn’t. She’s alive and well. But her breasts nourished me as an infant, and were a soft resting place for my head when I was scared or lonely as a little boy. I’m very grateful for my mother’s breasts, and her health."

"Umm", the stranger replied, "yeah".

"And I wear this ribbon to honor my wife", the middle aged man went on.

"And she’s okay, too?", the other guy asked.

"Oh, yes. She’s fine. Her breasts have been a great source of loving pleasure for both of us, and with them she nurtured and nourished our beautiful daughter 23 years ago. I am grateful for my wife’s breasts, and for her health."

"Uh huh. And I guess you wear it to honor your daughter, also?"

"No. It’s too late to honor my daughter by wearing it now. My daughter died of breast cancer one month ago. She thought she was too young to have breast cancer, so when she accidentally noticed a small lump, she ignored it. She thought that since it wasn’t painful, it must be nothing to worry about."

Shaken and ashamed, the now sober stranger said, "Oh, man, I’m so sorry mister".

"So, in my daughter’s memory, too, I proudly wear this little ribbon, which allows me the opportunity to enlighten others. Now, go home and talk to your wife and your daughters, your mother and your friends. And here . . ." The middle aged man reached in his pocket and handed the other man a little pink ribbon.

The guy looked at it, slowly raised his head and asked, "Can ya help me put it on?"

NOTE: This story has appeared in various places without an attributed author. I believe its message is important so I am posting it. This is breast cancer awareness month but actually every month should be. Do regular breast self-exams no matter what age you are, and have annual mammograms if you are a woman over the age of 45. Please send this post on to anyone you love to remind them of the importance of breast cancer awareness.

A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don’t think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?" they asked.

"No", she said. "He’s out."

"Then we cannot come in," they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in!" he said. The woman went out and invited the men in. "We do not go into a House together," they replied.

"Why is that?" she wanted to know.

One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice," he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"

His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don’t we invite Success?"

Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!"

"Let us heed our daughter-in-law’s advice," said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love to be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the three old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."

Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other two also got up and followed him.

Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would’ve stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!"

If you have not yet seen the movie What the Bleep Do We Know?! I urge you to do so. This extraordinary movie should be required viewing for humanity. It is unlike any other movie I have seen, a wonderful story of one woman’s journey to enlightenment interspersed with philosophical, scientific and medical documentary from scientists, academics and channellers, topped off with some very clever animation. It joins quantum physics and spirituality by examining who we are and why are we here and shows how our emotions and our intentions ultimately create our reality.

To some, the thought that we create our own reality can be scary stuff indeed, but a quick look inward will confirm that we do. We travel through life as a mirror, and our thoughts and feelings are reflected back to us. Think of it this way -- our world mirrors who we are back to us. If you take those things or people that annoy you and allow the negatively to control your attitude and your day, you will find that your day is filled with people who annoy you and activities that irritate you. Conversely, you can simply overwhelm the so-called annoyances and irritations with love and laughter in your heart, a smile on your face, and respond to others with kind words and thoughtful actions. When you do so, others will quickly pick up on your love and joy and return it to you in even greater measure.

Ultimately, what we experience is our choice. It really is just that simple.

I read the following in a newsletter and it gave me warm fuzzies and made me smile. I hope it brightens your day as much as it did mine.

A group of professional people posed the question "What does love mean?" to a group of four to eight year-olds, and the answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined.

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn’t bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That’s love."
--Rebecca, age 8

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."
--Billy, age 4

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."
--Karl, age 5

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."
--Chrissy, age 6

"Love is what makes you smile when you’re tired."
--Terri, age 4

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."
--Danny, age 7

"Love is what’s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."
--Bobby, age 7

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate."
--Nikka, age 6

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."
--Noelle, age 7

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn’t scared anymore."
--Cindy, age 8

"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken."
--Elaine, age 5

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."
--Chris, age 7

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."
--Mary Ann, age 4

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones."
--Lauren, age 4

"You really shouldn’t say I love you unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."
--Jessica, age 8

WOW! All I can add to these precious comments is that our planet needs a lot more people to think like these children. Out of the mouths of babes, as the saying goes, comes some of the greatest wisdom.

We’ve always been together,
You and me.
In this life?
In other lives?
The Answer is always the same.
The Spirit of our Love was born
At the First Instant.
Long before our bodies felt the Touch of Life
The Spirit of our Love was.
More than physical turn-on or time-released excitement,
The Touch of our Love adds
Peace and Strength known only to a few.
I feel the Sense of Heaven because I love You.
I can’t believe some call it Deja Vu!

Happy Birthaversary, James!
Happy Annibirthday, James!

The following are excerpts from The Gift of Change , the latest book by one of my favorite authors and lecturers, Marianne Williamson.

Life as we know it is passing away, and something new is emerging to take its place. All of us are playing a part in a larger transformative process, as each of us is being forced to confront whatever it is we do, or even think, that keeps love at bay. For as we block love’s power to change our own lives, we block its power to change the world.

As we release the fear-based thoughts we’ve been taught to think by a frightened and frightening world, we see God’s truth revealed: that who we are at our core is love itself.

The only way the world can make a quantum leap, from conflict and fear to peace and love, is if that same quantum leap occurs within us. Then and only then will we become the men and women capable of solving the problems that plague us. As we leap into the zone of our most authentic selves, we enter a realm of infinite possibility.

And until we make that breakthrough in ourselves, there will be no fundamental breakthrough in the world. The world we see reflects the people we’ve become, and if we do not like what we see in the world, we must face what we don’t like within ourselves. Having done so, we will move through our personal darkness to the light that lies beyond. We will embrace the light and extend the light.

We will inhabit the world we choose to see, and that is why it is so important that we never lose sight of love. As we read about war, let’s not forget the beauty of a sunset. When we think about the state of the world, let’s not forget how many people fell in love today. God never loses His enthusiasm for life, and neither should we.

Beneath the surface of worldly happenings, people continue to smile at each other and mean it, have babies, heal, create art, forgive each other, become more enlightened, laugh, grow wise, and love in spite of it all. In a world that seems split in two between fear and love, our greatest power lies in sharpening our own focus. Some things in the world today are very, very dark; what the world needs now is more people who are working for the light.

For all that is uncertain during these times of change and turmoil, you can count on a few things that are givens:

The choices that you make in your life these days hold more significance than ever before. There is no such thing as a small or insignificant choice. Every thing you do or say has a much greater "cosmic field effect" in the whole of your life than in previous times. What do I mean by previous times? I mean that there was "a time" when your thoughts and your inner life was much more CHOOSE ONE or SEVERAL: innocent / naïve / content / focused / secure / fill it in yourself. It’s different now. Everyday the news from the world as well as news from your personal life is filled with more signals and messages of change or impending changes than ever before. Nothing is stable any longer - no more pension plans, maybe social security is going to get the ax, who knows what terrorism has in store for us, medical care is outrageous, all forms of stability that held our social lives intact are rapidly getting the rug pulled out from under them - and that’s just from the greater sphere of our lives. Nothing is the same.

In previous times of chaos, and there have been many in the history of humanity - history is the study of chaos and survival and rebuilding - always a spiritual renaissance has been the salvation of cultures in decline. This time, this era, the decline is far more dramatic. The decline is archetypal. It is global. It is environmental. But this is the nature of transformation and evolution. You can’t say we haven’t been expecting this. The question is, of course, what does all of this mean for you? Where do you fit in the midst of this?

Whenever the heavens dismantle your life in any way, it is always an opportunity to wonder, "What door is being opened for me? What am I supposed to discover about myself next? What part of my spirit is meant to come into empowerment during this time?" This is where the exploration of your Sacred Contract becomes such an intriguing study -- go into the cosmic reasons for your birth. Take on the journey of excavating your spiritual power and its highest potential and let that open up the second chapter of your life here on this earth.
